We have worked with BuildArt on a number of high-end residential jobs in the Mosman and North Shore area of Sydney. They are a builder who demonstrates the key values of commitment, integrity, reliability and excellence. The owner/builder relationship is fundamentally based on trust and transparency in all dealings and Warwick has excellent communication skills and solid management practices .
His ability to understand the design intent and tailor his building work and service style to suit is what makes him an exceptional builder. This is also evident in the way Warwick behaves towards his clients and his contractors . He runs his building sites with a positive and co-operative attitude and manner, whilst always working with reliable and skilled contractors.
Warwick has a distinct focus on quality, detailed costings and a strong ability to work alongside architects and other design professionals such as ourselves.

BuildArt was brought in to coordinate the original builder's resources to rectify the works. In this role he worked closely with the home owner and our expert engineering consultant to rectify the matters. The primary rectification works revolved around waterproofing, drainage and flooding issues around multiple walls and retaining walls (mainly below ground) around the property, but also other defects around support piers under the house and minor electrical works.
After a difficult period with the original builder, Warwick was a pleasure to deal with, was committed to understanding the core issues and properly resolving them, and spared no expense to ensure that we were satisfied with the final works and that they adequately addressed the consultant engineers directions.
Warwick regularly contacted us after the work had been completed to ensure that no further issues had arisen and that we were completely satisfied with the work performed. Warwick worked well under clear directions and sought to learn the risks and methods of proper waterproofing and drainage from the expert engaged.

I can't thank Warwick and the team at BuildArt enough. They helped us achieve the impossible!
We needed to complete a full office fit-out out including altering structural walls in order to create a secure network operations facility. The team were able to complete all of the works after hours to ensure there was minimum impact to the business.
I couldn't be happier with the result and would recommend Build Art to anyone looking for a professional building firm. I look forward to working with Warwick and the team again

Warwick and his team at Build Art recently completed some renovations at our Lindfield property which included some complex paving works . All works were carried out on time and are of a very high standard. We will definitely use them again.

I had the pleasure of working with Warwick on a $10 million residential “dream home” build in Mosman. My role on the project was as structural site inspection engineer, engaged directly by the clients to see that the construction was in substantial accordance with the design drawings.
“Dream homes” are the most commonly litigated construction issues in NSW, and this was understood
by Warwick. The site was confined, highly sloped with narrow and curved street access, thus creating difficult
construction access. The architectural embellishment was staggering, with 129 architectural drawings.
Attention to detail, site planning, quality of construction and logistics were paramount and difficult to
manage.
I can put my hand on my heart when I say, I was impressed by the work Warwick did, on a very
challenging project. To me, it was clear that he read and understood the details thoroughly, worked hard
to provide quality in construction, took advice when it was offered, and kept calm throughout a high
anxiety project, which ran for approximately 20 months.

Warwick was a major factor in the overwhelming success of this project. Warwick was involved in all facets of the project from start to finish. His attention to both construction & administrative detail; clear & timely communication skills and his organised & collected nature were key attributes that enabled him to perform and build at such a high level.
Warwick’s overall performance was outstanding and I would have no hesitation to work with him again or recommend him to colleagues.

BuildArt has also been contracted to build & manage several high profile and Master Builder Award winning projects including:
2013 – House in Lindfield which won the Town Houses or Villa/Dual Occupancy in the $600,001 - $1 million category at the MBA Awards. This was a modern brick, glass and cedar clad home with a wet edge, angled lap pool butting up to the side of the house. Contrastingly, the front house on the subdivided block which was built at the same time was a renovation of a heritage style home which the National Trust of Australia chose as a home to view with National significance.
2014 – Additions and renovations work to the 1884 built, NSW Heritage Listed “Woodlands House” in Killara. This was the childhood home to the acclaimed Australian children’s author Ethel Turner who wrote “Seven Little Australians” whilst she resided at the property. Work included doubling the house in size and the construction of a 50m lap pool and tennis court.
2017 – The iconic Shaun Lockyer designed waterfront house in Taylor’s Bay which won the Contract House in the $9 million - $10 million category at the Master Builders Association Awards. Featured in Belle Magazine, The Local Project, Cement, Concrete and Aggregates Aust Magazine, Urbis and Elle Décor Italia. An emphasis was placed on off-form and board form concrete, with steel and ironbark cladding and windows to soften the palate.
